All jobs have a 3 HOURS MINIMUM requirement. The time after the 3rd hour is prorated in 15-minute increments. The same hourly rates are applied.

There are NO ADDITIONAL FEES OR CHARGES of any kind, and taxes are already included in the hourly rate. So, no surprises!
Unlike many moving companies, we DO NOT require a deposit, and there are no cancellation/rescheduling fees. We guarantee that our movers are professionals and won't waste the time.
DOUBLE DRIVE TIME
If the distance between your pick up and drop-off locations is more than 10 miles, double drive time will be applied to your move. For all hourly moves in the State of California, moving companies are required to charge double drive time. The actual CPUC law is written as follows: 'the time used shall be the total of loading, unloading, and double the driving time from the point of origin to the point of destination.
EXTRA HEAVY ITEM CHARGE
For all items over 300lbs such as piano, large safe, pool table, or anything that could be considered excessively heavy additional charges may apply.
Item over 300lbs - $100 fee
Upright Piano - $100 fee
Baby Grand Piano - $150 fee
PACKING SERVICE
We recommend to pack as much as you can to cut down the time and save some money. We can do full packing of your kitchen, miscellaneous, media, personal items etc for you at no extra cost, but you still be paying for the total number of hours we are going to spend on completing your move.
We offer 2 packing supplies options:
1 - Full Packing Kit - $250 - Includes 50 different size boxes, 100ft of bubble wrap and 5 lbs of kitchen paper (best option if you want us to take care of the packing entirely)
2 - On The Go Packing - Purchasing of packing and boxing supplies per item (good if you want us to pack only some of your items)
Small heavy duty boxes $3/ea
Medium heavy duty boxes $4/ea
Large heavy duty boxes $5/ea
Kitchen paper $30 / 1lb
Bubble Wrap $1 / 1ft
When choosing a Full Packing Kit we recommend adding an additional mover (it's only +$40/hr) to perform the job in a timely manner.

INSURANCE
We are a fully licensed and insured moving company. Simple Moving's liability for lost or damaged items is limited to $0,60 per pound per article. Additional insurance may be purchased at movinginsurance.com. Upon the purchase, Simple Moving must be notified in no less than 72 hours before the day of the move. Per your request, we can provide a Certificate of Insurance.
Please note - Simple Moving is not responsible for any damages to pre-packed items or contents of pre-packed boxes.
RESERVATION
In order to process your Reservation, we would only need both pick up and drop off addresses, the best number to reach you, and email where we can send you the Confirmation.
